Netbooks

When traveling wouldn’t you just love to have a device that’s bigger and can do more than your mobile phone but is much smaller and lighter than your bulky laptop? Then here’s something you might like: the mini-laptop also known as the netbook.

These type of netbooks were initially popularized by Asus but have since then gotten many copy cats. Generally these devices aren’t suitable to work at for hours in a row, but the technology has certainly improved quite a lot. Therefore it’s not strange that supposedly 10% of the laptop market is already consisting of netbooks. But that might have more to do with its price: you can have one for as little as a couple of hundred dollars.

For a review of several popular models have look at cnet.
