with the Fed’s policy decision and accompanying statement not hitting the
wires until 19:15 CET a day later, investors tomorrow will look to housing data
to help set a definitive tone to the day’s action. February Housing Starts and
Building Permits will be out at13:30 CET.

- On the earnings front, Commercial Metals (CMC), FactSet Research Systems
(FDS), and Progress Software (PRGS) are among the limited names reporting
before the bell. After the close, Oracle Corp (ORCL) heads a list that also
includes Adobe Systems (ADBE), Cintas (CTAS), and Darden Restaurants (DRI).

- Barclays Plc is offering more than $80 billion for ABN Amro Holding NV, the
Wall Street Journal said, citing people close to the matter. Barclays Chief
Executive Officer John Varley would lead the combined entity from Amsterdam
while board seats and management positions would be divided between the two
banks, the Journal said, citing people familiar with the matter.

- DaimlerChrysler AG: Chief Executive Officer Dieter Zetsche plans to increase
the carmaker’s profit margin almost twofold by 2009, Handelsblatt reported,
citing unidentified people in the company.

- Vestas Wind Systems A/S: The world’s largest maker of wind turbines will
likely report fourth-quarter net income of 85 million kroner, compared with a
net loss of 123 million kroner a year earlier, according to the average analyst
estimate in an SME Direkt poll.

- Russia told Iran that it will withhold nuclear fuel for an almost finished
power plant unless Iran suspends its uranium enrichment, the New York Times
said, citing unidentified officials from Europe, the U.S. and Iran.
