- Baidu.com Inc. fell $3.40, or 3.9 percent, to $83.88 in extended trading. The
owner of China’s most-used Internet search engine forecast revenue of as much as
$35 million for the fourth quarter. That’s below the average estimate of $36
million from seven analysts in a survey by Thomson Financial,

- ISM will be out at 16:00 CET together with Construction Spending while the
Energy Dept.’s weekly oil report at 16:30 CET will also garner attention.

- On the earnings front, Agco (AG), Burger King (BKC), Cigna (CI), Clorox (CLX),
Devon Energy (DVN), Marsh &McLennan (MMC), MasterCard (MA), Newmont Mining
(NEM), Time Warner (TWX), and TRW Automotive (TRW) report before the bell. After
the close, the biggest names scheduled to report include Allied Waste
(AW), Aon Corp (AOC), Callaway Golf (ELY), EDS (EDS), Guess? (GES), Guitar
Center (GTRC), InfoSpace (INSP), Las Vegas Sands (LVS), Prudential (PRU), and
Sunoco (SUN).

- Deutsche Bank AG, Germany’s biggest bank, said third-quarter profit rose 25
percent as gains from an insurance settlement and the sale of shares in Linde
Group outweighed a slump in earnings at the investment bank.Net income climbed
to 1.24 billion euros ($1.58 billion), or 2.45 euros a share, from 991 million
euros, or 1.89 euros, a year earlier, the Frankfurt-based bank said in a
statement today. Earnings exceeded the 1.06 billion-euro median estimate of 23
analysts surveyed by Bloomberg News.

- Alitalia SpA: Italy’s unprofitable state-owned airline said net debt widened
to 91 million euros ($116 million) at the end of September, as income from
business travel in the previous month declined.

- Continental AG: The world’s fourth-largest tiremaker is scheduled to report
third-quarter earnings. The company may post a profit decline of 20 percent to
259 million euros on sales of 3.76 billion euros, according to analysts
surveyed by Bloomberg News.

- Deutsche Telekom AG: AFK Sistema, a Russian holding company, may seek between
10 percent and 20 percent of Deutsche Telekom AG, Financial Times Deutschland
said.

- Linde AG: The world’s largest maker of industrial gases is in talks with
Airgas Inc. about selling eight air-separation units in the U.S., the Financial
Times Deutschland reported, citing board member Aldo Belloni.

- Storebrand ASA: Norway’s largest publicly traded insurer will probably say
third-quarter net income fell 1.5 percent to 305 million kroner ($46.5 million),
the median estimate of 10 analysts surveyed by SME Direkt for TDN Finans, as
earnings from its life-insurance unit declined.

- Tele2 AB: Sweden’s second-biggest phone operator will likely report a net loss
in the third quarter of 3.9 billion kronor ($540 million) on sales of 13.65
billion kronor, the average estimates in a poll by SME Direkt. The
Stockholm-based company reported net income of 927 million kronor a year
earlier.
