* ATLAS COPCO SELLS RENTAL UNIT MAJORITY STAKE FOR $3.8 BLN

Atlas Copco AB has agreed with private equity firms Ripplewood Holdings L.L.C. and Oak Hill Capital Management, LLC, to sell the ajority of its construction equipment rental business, in a transaction with a total value of approximately SEK 28 (USD 3.8) in cash and securities.
